Red Pin — two phones, one world

Goal: pair two iPhones so Lil Stitcher can weave a VR180 room. The phones start the show. Leave Lil Stitcher signed in. Do not click Start Dual iPhone or Rescan iPhones. The desk has no Local / Away switch.

1. Pair the phones

  1. Open Lil Eye on both iPhones, same account family, close enough to see each other.
  2. Let them find each other. One becomes the master, the other the slave. Chrome turns red.
  3. Use the alignment guide so the two cameras sit a small human distance apart — that gap is the stereo, the depth in the room.
Tip: Each eye is H.265. High is about 1920×1920 per eye. The lighter tier is about 960×960. Either way, the published world is the same 3840×1920 plate. 2K does not shrink the room.

2. Same Wi‑Fi as the desk (Local)

The phones find Lil Stitcher by Bonjour on port 7770. The live eyes are separate: WHIP into that PC on port 9885, left and right.

Desk steps: Local dual.

3. Phones somewhere else (Away)

The phones send to the cloud relay. Lil Stitcher at home subscribes and weaves the same plate.

Desk steps: Away dual.

4. Check the weave

When both eyes connect, Stitcher locks Lil Eye geometry for you: 180°, Shift 0, a filled side-by-side picture. If you see two circles on black, read what the picture should look like.
