Away dual (cloud relay)
Phones publish through the Stitch2Stream relay; Lil Stitcher pulls both eyes over the internet. Use this when you are not on the same Wi‑Fi as the PC.
What “Away” means
- Local — LAN path, home Wi‑Fi, lowest lag.
- Away — cloud relay path; works across networks; uses dual streaming credits.
Steps
- Sign in on Lil Stitcher (and keep a healthy credit balance).
- On both phones, open Lil Eye and choose Away. The PC has no Local / Away button. The phones switch the desk.
- Tap dual Go Live on the phones so they publish left and right to the relay. Do not click Start Dual iPhone on the PC.
- Lil Stitcher looks for a dual relay session that is publisher ready (both eyes actually live).
- When both WHEP streams attach, Stitcher weaves the same plate as Local, by itself: 3840×1920, Shift 0, field of view 180, each eye stretch-filled. Not a fisheye circle crop, and not letterboxed black bars.
Publisher ready: Minted URLs alone are not enough — both phones must actually be
publishing video. Stitcher waits for that ready state so you don’t hang forever on empty streams.
Credits
Away dual consumes dual streaming hours from your wallet or plan. Top up from the username menu → Top up credits, or open topup on the website. See Credits & plans.
If it stalls on “waiting…”
- Confirm both phones still show live / publishing in Lil Eye.
- Confirm you are signed in on Stitcher and balance is not zero.
- Wait a few seconds for the relay status poll (it is not instant).

Crash recovery: If Lil Stitcher crashes while Away dual is running,
the watchdog can restart it with your saved session and try to rejoin Away —
without asking for username/password again on that PC.
