Getting started with Lil Stitcher
Goal: get the desktop app running on your PC, signed in, and ready for dual phones. No jargon — just the path that works.
1. Download & install
- Open the Download page on stitch2stream.com.
- Get the Lil Stitcher for Windows build.
- Run the installer (or unpack the release folder) and launch Lil Stitcher.
2. Sign in
On first launch you’ll see a welcome screen. Choose Continue to Sign in. Your browser opens stitch2stream.com — use Google or email.
Tip: After you sign in once, Lil Stitcher remembers your session on this PC.
You should not need to type a password every time.
3. Activate this PC
Desktop access needs a licensed device. Most creators activate with credits or a subscription from their account wallet.
- If the app asks to activate, follow the on-screen options (top up or subscribe).
- Enterprise users may enter a LILS key from support.
See Credits & plans for details.
4. Meet the main window
- Username menu (top right) — Top up credits, Lil VR, Help Center, Settings, Sign out.
- Device — the phones select Lil Eye when they connect. You do not click Start Dual iPhone or Rescan iPhones. The lock is automatic: field of view 180 (not the phone’s 120° or the USB 205°), Shift 0, and a stretch-filled 3840×1920 plate. A USB fisheye camera keeps its own circle stitch.
- Preview — raw cameras on top, stitched world underneath. For Lil Eye the stitch should be two filled squares, not two circles on black. See what the picture should look like.
5. Choose your path
- Local dual — phones and PC on the same Wi‑Fi (best quality, lowest lag).
- Away dual — phones elsewhere; cloud relay connects them.
Unattended boxes: Lil Stitcher includes a watchdog. If the app crashes,
it can restart and resume work without asking for a password again.
If you Quit normally, the watchdog stops with you (no surprise relaunch).
